*For documents with 5,000 words or more, the rates are as follows:
-Proofreading: 5 cents per word
-Editing: 8 cents per word
Number of words in a page:-
There are about 250 words on a page double spaced, or 500 words on a page single spaced. The rule of thumb is - Usually a typical page which has 1-inch margins and is typed in 12 point font with standard spacing elements will be approximately 500 words when typed single spaced. For assignments that require double spacing, it would take approximately 250 words to fill the page.
